Dog of the Day - 25th Feb 2013

Today's Dog of the Day is the magnificent Jaz again, the Borzoi/Afghan Hound mix. She is an incredible dog - I grow more and more fond of her every day! Today she sat and posed for me - the perfect subject. She's ten, so a lot more placid than the 9-month-old pup I'm used to, with the energy that comes with that. Here's a selection of photos I captured of her today (one with the unfeasibly cute 5-month-old miniature wire-haired dachshund, Flossy).

    have myselfe 2 afghans and a barzoi, i love this dogs apearance the coat and the head. it has somthing special to it. love to know more about this lovely dog.

      We saw a picture of Jaz and we had a Borzoi Afghan mix rescue and our looked exactly like Jaz. Do you have a way to get in touch with the owner? We would love to share a picture of our dog. Please reach back out to me at harlowinman2161@gmail.com

      Hi Harlow, I tried to contact the owner but his email address is no longer working. The dog died a few years ago and I think he's moved out of the area :(
