Today's Dog of the Day is a darling little dog I've known for over a year - Myrtle. She's an Affenpinscher, which is often nicknamed the monkey dog. She is very small and not the easiest dog to photograph, given her tiny features and long black fur. The scorched grass added the extra difficulty of additional contrast. She did sit still for me for a brief moment today, but then she was off!

Dog of the Day - 20th July 2013
It was lovely and refreshing today, after two weeks of rather too hot weather; dogs just don't like the heat (especially not ones with big thick black coats like Henry's) and neither do I! So today I was a lot happier and so were the dogs, and plenty of them were out and about. And so was I, armed with my camera and zoom lens.

ReplyDeleteI really like that they can be cuddled upward jointly.
