Lots of Dogs Today! - 26th February 2014

What a glorious day again! It feels as if spring is here, but who knows when winter will be back.... Lots of the neighbourhood dogs were out and about and for once I was armed with the SLR rather than just the rather useless iPhone. I barely recognised all the owners without hats!

Here's some of Henry's friends: Ernie the golden cocker, Alfie the ball-stealing terrier mix, Mac the westie, Quinn the regal springer, Lazlo the Coton de Tulear and a new little chap called Archie, who's a schnauzer (miniature schnauzer crossed with a poodle!). Lots of white and orange dogs around today!

And here's a shot of Henry keeping my company this morning while I was working from home, looking a bit serious:

Dog of the Day - 3rd April 2013

Today's Dog of the Day is actually another dog I met yesterday (the light was awful again today!). This is Rocky, a year-old border terrier. I first met him a couple of months ago and was having a little chat with his owner as Henry and Rocky pottered about, and the next thing I knew the little chap had cocked his leg and taken a little tinkle down my jeans. I thought it was hilarious but his owner was absolutely mortified. I met them again a few weeks ago and he still said how embarrassed he was about it. The little man hasn't done it since, which is a relief for his owner, but I still find the whole thing quite amusing.

Anyway, no more pee on my leg - he had a good little play with Henry and his new favourite toy - a green rubber ball on a rope from Sainsbury's!

Dog of the Day - 11th Feb 2013

No dog of the day yesterday or today - weather just too nasty to take the camera out. So here's a doggie shot from a few days ago, during sunnier times!

This is the lovely little Mojo, a year-old border terrier, playing with a ball in the sun last week. His sister, Molly, was injured in an accident with a truck a few days earlier, so he was a little bereft and lonely (Molly's had some bed-rest, and thankfully is recovering well).
